Report abuseBlogs are usually aimed for the organic traffic from the SEOs. Search Engines like blogs because their information is constantly updating. You can also optimize the content of your blog for the specific keywords so that your articles would get more attention of the SEOs. Don’t forget that blogs have the informative aim. So if you promote some services there, don’t overstuff it, because the visitors will not like it. People will come to your blog to look for the information. Try to offer your visitors as much useful information as possible, so that they would like to visit your blog again and bookmark your page.

Unlike the websites, blogs are more personal place in the Internet. You can personalize your blog by offering some information about yourself, adding a picture of your dog. It will make your visitors be loyal to you and visit your blog more often. Be yourself and share your honest point of view when you write for your blog. You can also write from the first person there, it will make you closer to your readers.

Besides the SEO, the other way for generating more traffic to your blog is the links exchanging. You can exchange links with other blogs and as a result you will receive traffic from the other blogs as well as the other blogs will get visitors from your blog. Don’t be courteous that it may cause all your visitors go to the other blogs. Link exchanging strategy proved its effectiveness. It lets more traffic visit your blog. Even if some of them leave your page, those who are interested in your services will stay with you.

Don’t underestimate the blogging. This easy and not expensive method can play a main role in the promotion of your internet based business and help you make money from home.

.org Expired Domains – Understanding Their Merits

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

Everyone prefers to own a .com type of domain extension and .com continues to lead the domain pack for its perceived benefits and advantages. Though, .com continues to dominate the domain names, .org types of domain names are increasingly becoming well known for their better and cleaner image. This could be due to their non-profit and charitable origins and their altruistic nature. Furthermore, a domain extension that ends with .org tends to be seen by many people as something good and honorable. In fact, people can easily identify a charity or non-profit owned web portal ending with .org extension better than an ordinary .com web portal. Of late, .org expired domain names are making news as more and more expired domain traders are buying an .org top level domain name.

What does an .org expired domain means to you? How can it help your expired domain business? Simply speaking, an .org type of expired domain can form a viable and safe substitute for a .com type of expired domain extension at least in some areas. Several types of .org expired domains are available these days and some of them relate or belong to following categories of activities:

1. Charitable activities

2. NGOs

3. Non-profits

4. News or blog sites

5. General and useful info related web portals 6. Directories

7. Review sites

8. Free utilities

Tip: Though, an .org domain is meant for non profit and organizational activities, people are using this type of domains are other activities that non business in nature. Just some time back, people used to think that .com type of extensions were the exclusive properties of businesses and corporate houses. But, people do use a .com extension for other purposes as well.

There are no restrictions on how you can use a, .org type of expired domain name. There are many entrepreneurs who use .org type of name to sell products and services that belong to advertizing sectors. It means that the image of an .org being a non profit type of domain extension is just an image and nothing else. An .org type of expired domain could lead to a hefty profit, because there are many organizations that keep looking for a good .org top level domain (tld).

Today, non profits and organizations are becoming corporate like entities with very strict public image consciousness and awareness. If you feel that you have very good .org type of expired domain name, go out and grab it immediately. But, ensure that the .org expired domain that you wish to buy has no established trademarks associated with it. .Org type of expired domains must elicit a good response from people who keep looking for relevant information on non-profit and grant making.

Why do big brands like google or msn buy all of their domain name extensions world wide?

Could someone who speaks Englisg as their first language tell me if this text needs to be edited? Thx?

Important Tips:

1- As you’re registering your name, you will be presented with the option of adding Privacy to your domain registration. A private domain registration will keep your information (name, email address, etc.) out of the global Internet database, and will prevent a lot of spam from reaching your email box. It is highly recommended you select this option.

2- Avoid web hosts offering free domain. Try to register the name yourself, so that you can be sure that you are registered as the owner. If your web host places itself as the owner, they can always decide to not let you change your web hosting service. Especially if you are not happy with their hosting service it can be catastrophic! So don’t accept any free domain name and pay for it.

3- Don’t trust any cheap service. Some registrars are cheating and misleading their customers. For example if the price of a domain name is $10 /year, they offer it $2 for first year. But next years they charge $35 to renew the domain name! On the other hand, many of cheap services don’t allow you to have full control on your domain name.

If you are looking for a safe and cheap service that works for you, GoldPuma.com is a reliable website to register your desired domain name. Their service is one of the lowest cost services on the web which is really full-featured and easy-to-use. They offer free extras with every domain name and you can check out their hot prices by going there.

Choosing A Web Hosting Provider By Their Customer Service

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

When choosing a web-hosting provider, there will be tons of questions you need answered before settling on the service that is right for you. Most often, when dealing with customer service, there tends to be a conflict of interest. Of course, they are trying to sell a service to you, so their ultimate goal is to make their web hosting features sound much better than the next choice.

Some companies will even stretch the truth just to attract business. For these customer service representatives, it is all about securing the deal and achieving a sale. But, what about the customer? In the long run, it is actually detrimental for businesses to lure a customer under false, misinformed or vague pretenses. If customer needs are not successfully satisfied or the company doesn’t deliver as promised, consumers are sure to place negative feedback and spread the word about their experiences.

Customer service is put into place to help customers make the decisions that are right for them. Just because a company offers low prices, doesn’t mean it will provide the proper services that a particular customer needs. They may need specific features to achieve all of their Internet goals and desires. It is the responsibility of customer service to make sure that all inquiries are answered with customer satisfaction in mind.

As a customer, familiarizing yourself with the ins and outs of web hosting providers and services is quite beneficial. Arming yourself with relevant knowledge will help you pinpoint the type of questions you need to ask a customer representative when searching for a service. How will you be able to comparison shop if you don’t even know some of the basics of web hosting? There are numerous aspects of choosing a web-hosting provider that you should take into consideration. Below you will find a few areas of web hosting to keep in mind when researching web-hosting companies:

Email: Having access to more than one email account through a web hosting company is quite desirable. Good questions to ask customer service regarding email is how many accounts you will receive. Will they provide a catch-all account? Will there be any limitations to the space per account or the size allowed for attachments?

Disk Space and Bandwidth: The answers to questions pertaining to these topics will determine your limitations regarding website space and Internet traffic. Ask web hosting customer service reps how many sub-domains are allowed. How much hard disk space will you receive? How much maximum bandwidth?

Information Protection: For some, backing up information is extremely important. A potential customer will want to know if a web-hosting provider has any backup policies. Will it cost additional fees to retrieve these backups, if offered? How many times during a week, month or year are files backed up?

Knowing a little bit about related web hosting topics before approaching customer service allows you to get the most out of your questions. In the end, with the help of a reliable customer service rep with good intentions, you may or may not choose a particular web hosting company for your business.

where do you complain if a web host is reneging on their unlimited domains offer?

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

I just paid for a plan which claims unlimited domain names included in the hosting. As soon as I started asking about how to add new domains, they changed the help screen in my cpanel (no more manage domains button) and they don’t reply to my emails. I am still within 30-days money back guarantee, but I want to give them a chance to respond first.
