I am leaving for 9 days for vacation. I have two chinchillas that I would like to keep an eye on, in case anything happens, but mostly for my own peace of mind… I have a webcam in my room. How can I post online my webcam to check on my pets while I’m gone? Is it free? Is there some just video hosting site? That does live? For a long time…
How can I check it with another computer? Do I need software for that too? Is there just a site you can upload it to? And get on your account, and see it??? This is what I really need. It may be a public computer, or family’s computer, that I cant download stuff on..,.
Or you could use a mobile phone… So when someone goes in your room/house a sensor goes of and a camera takes a photo and sends it to your mobile phone,….
You would need some VNC software. I use RealVNC. Its free and works great! No malware either.
