Thanks! I doubt I’ll film in Chicago though, CA has enough varying landscapes for the film.
However, there may or may not be a nerdfighter roadtrip to Chicago in August to see the HP Exhibit. You should come meetup if it happens. Both Hayley and Karen would be there, not sure how many others of the group you know.
In other news, the BBpress forum is glitchy. It keeps saying it will e-mail me my password, then doesn’t. I’ve checked my spam folders, so it’s not that. Frustrating!
it’s just because i go to a school where there are so many directors, and i’ve never directed anything this scale before, or live-action for that matter
i’d love to let you direct, but you’d have to come live with me all next summer
I would love to help. There are only few problems. 1. I know absolutely nothing about Zelda. 2. I don’t know how my parents would feel about it. (I’m only 15) and 3. I don’t have any money. But, I’ll try to help in anyway I can. If you need my help, then I’ll do whatever you need if it’s at all possible.
Well actually I’m making her play Wind Waker first, because the gameplay is easier and more intuitive, and the pace is slower. It’s a more gentle introduction. So frankly she’ll still be knowledge-free.
considering that i live in N CA, i’d say a lot closer. thanks for offering your help, i’ll post details the further along the project goes. i want to finish the script before i do anything else.
I am definitely into helping you with this. My knowledge of Zelda is minimal, but I do go to drama school in New York, where I’m studying directing and theatrical design, so that might be a bit of a help. I act too. Oh, and during vacations I live in Northern California, which (I think) is closer to you than New York.
sounds like fun
i have been meaning to ask you about some font design, but i keep missing you on skype
Awesome! If you need any graphic design done, just ask
I’m applying to quite a few this summer but, have my eye on SVA in NYC or AI in Chicago.
thanks, just stay tuned
oh, you will be helping. there is no escape for you
I’d like to help. I don’t know what I could do…. but I’d like to help!
i’ll look into that… it’s probably just a permission error on one of the files

Ah. Point taken.

as soon as the script is finished, i’m going to figure out what jobs need to be done, so if there is something you can do you’ll figure out then

AWESOME. i’d love to help any way i can.
Good luck with it! If you need a place to crash in chicagoland, Jenny and I have a spare couch or two.

You’re only producing?
… Can I direct? Please please please?
Then again, I’d be satisfied just to, as I said, be the voice of Navi. Or help with costumes. Or edit the script.
Gimme gimme gimme.

and minimal zelda knowledge is fine
thank you!
a lot of animation majors concentrate in visual development/storyboarding
what school are you planning on attending?
oh i will.
it’s going to be the scene where Max is in the Jew “parade”
we should all play Zelda together!
well, i’m probably going to let you read the script in about a week, so maybe you read it before you play, and then again afterwards?
